Product Overview
BodyFuel Ultimate Aminos from Applied Nutrition is an amino acid drink powder with added caffeine, sold as “Aminos + Energy” for use during training. The tub holds 270g — 30 servings of 9g. Each scoop gives 7.75g of amino acids, including 4g of BCAAs, plus 100mg of caffeine and 100mg of choline bitartrate.
The photos show two flavours, Millions Cola and Millions Raspberry, and the listing says the flavour may vary — message us if you want a particular one.
Key Benefits
- Caffeine for alertness and endurance — 100mg, about a mug of coffee. Caffeine has good evidence for modestly improving endurance and making hard training feel easier.
- A flavoured, almost calorie-free drink during training — about 1.2 kcal a scoop, which makes it easier to keep drinking water in Dhaka heat.
- BCAAs — may ease muscle soreness slightly. If you already eat enough protein, extra BCAAs add little for muscle growth.
Honest note: muscle is built from all nine essential amino acids, and BCAAs are only three of them. This is mainly a caffeinated training drink with amino acids added, not a substitute for protein from food.

Caffeine — Please Read
Each scoop contains 100mg of caffeine, and the tub carries a high-caffeine warning. Caffeine is fine for most healthy adults in moderate amounts, but:
- Not in the evening. Caffeine can disturb sleep for six hours or more. If you train after work, take it early or choose a caffeine-free drink.
- Not in pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and not for children or anyone under 18 — the label says so.
- Heart conditions — if you have an irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure or any heart condition, ask your doctor first. Stop if you notice palpitations, chest pain, dizziness or shakiness.
- Other caffeine counts too. Tea, coffee, cola, energy drinks, pre-workouts and some painkillers all add up. Most adults should stay under about 400mg a day in total.
- One scoop a day only, as the label directs. Do not double up on hard training days.
- Anxiety, panic attacks, stomach ulcers or reflux can be made worse by caffeine.
What the Listing Claims, and What Is Known
- “Reduces fatigue” — the caffeine makes effort feel easier for a few hours. It does not fix tiredness from poor sleep or overtraining; it masks it.
- “Supports muscle recovery” — BCAAs may reduce soreness a little. Enough total protein and sleep matter far more.
- “Great for hydration” — the water you mix it with is what hydrates you. The panel shows no added salt or electrolytes.
- “Vegan friendly” and “Halal certified” — these are the seller’s words. Neither mark is visible on the label in the photos; message us if either matters to you.
- Citrulline malate — 1.25g per scoop, well below the 6-8g usually studied for exercise performance.
How to Use
- Mix one 9g scoop with water and shake well. The listing does not give the amount of water — follow the tub.
- Take one serving once a day, during training, as the label directs. Do not exceed it.
- Sip it through the session.
Who Is It Suitable For?
Healthy adults who train regularly, tolerate caffeine well, and want a flavoured, low-calorie drink during workouts.
- Kidney or liver disease — ask your doctor before taking amino acid supplements.
- Maple syrup urine disease, a rare inherited condition — BCAAs must be avoided.
- Sweetened with sucralose — check if you avoid artificial sweeteners.
- Not for children, or in pregnancy or breastfeeding (see the caffeine section).

This Is a Supplement, Not a Medicine
A dietary supplement is a food product. It is not a medicine, it has not been through the testing a medicine goes through, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Supplement labels use health language — “supports”, “helps maintain”, “promotes” — precisely because they are not permitted to claim treatment. Read them that way. If a listing anywhere promises that a capsule will fix a medical condition, that promise is not one the product can keep.
What a supplement can honestly do is fill a gap in your diet. That is worth something, and it is a smaller thing than most packaging implies.
Talk to a Doctor First
Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before you start, particularly if you:
- take any prescribed medicine — supplements interfere with medicines more often than people expect
- are being treated for a heart, liver, kidney, thyroid or blood condition
- have diabetes
- are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding
- have surgery or a dental procedure coming up
Never stop or reduce a prescribed medicine in order to take a supplement instead. That is the single most dangerous thing anyone does with a product like this, and it is what the marketing language quietly invites.
About the Imported Pack
This is an imported product. The label, the dose instructions and the ingredient panel are the ones printed for the market it was made for, and the wording may differ from a locally packaged version.
Follow the dose printed on the pack itself — it is the authority on its own contents — and check the expiry date when it arrives. If anything on the label is unclear, message us before you take it and we will read it to you.
Storage
- Close the lid tightly after every use — powder clumps quickly in humidity.
- Use a dry scoop, and keep the tub cool and out of direct sun.
- Drink a mixed shake the same day; do not leave it standing in the heat.
- Keep it out of reach of children — it contains caffeine.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much caffeine is in it?
100mg per 9g scoop — about the same as a mug of coffee. Count it with any tea, coffee or energy drinks you have that day.
Can I take it in the evening?
Better not. Caffeine can keep you awake for hours after an evening session. Train earlier, or use a caffeine-free drink.
Can I choose the flavour?
The listing says the flavour may vary. Message us and we will tell you which we have.
Can I take it with my other supplements?
Check the labels for anything that appears in both — doubling a dose by accident is easy. If you are on prescribed medicine as well, ask a pharmacist. They do this check quickly and for free.
How do I check the pack is in date?
The expiry date is printed on the bottle or the base of the box. Check it as soon as your order arrives. If it is unreadable or close to expiry, message us and we will replace it.
