Product Overview
Streax Professional Hair Serum is a finishing serum rather than a treatment. It goes on damp hair after washing and stays there, coating each strand with a thin film of oil and silicone that lies flat against the cuticle. That film is what makes hair look shiny, feel smooth and comb out without a fight.
The formula is built on macadamia oil and vitamin E. Macadamia is a light oil that sits well on hair without the heaviness of coconut or castor, which is why it appears in so many finishing products. The 115ml bottle lasts a long time at two or three drops a wash.

Who It Suits
Anyone whose hair frizzes in humidity, tangles after washing, or looks dull when it dries. It is most useful on medium to thick hair — very fine hair may find even a couple of drops too much, in which case use one drop on the ends only.
How to Use It
- Start with clean, towel-dried hair — damp, not dripping.
- Two or three drops in the palm, rub the hands together, then work through the mid-lengths and ends.
- Keep it away from the roots unless the product is made for the scalp. Serum on the scalp is the usual reason hair looks flat and oily a day later.
- Comb through to spread it evenly, then style or air-dry as normal.
- Start with less than you think. You can always add a drop; you cannot take it out without washing.
Patch Test Before the First Use
Do this once, before the first full application, and it takes two minutes. Put a small amount behind the ear or on the inner elbow, leave it for 24 hours, and do not use the product if the skin reddens, itches or stings. A reaction on a coin-sized patch is a nuisance; the same reaction across a whole scalp is not.
Repeat the test if you have reacted to a hair product before, or if your scalp is currently broken, sunburnt or irritated.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use it on dry hair?
Yes, a single drop rubbed between the palms and smoothed over the surface will tame frizz mid-day. On damp hair it spreads more evenly and does more, so that is the better habit.
Will it make my hair greasy?
Only if you use too much or put it on the roots. Serum belongs on the mid-lengths and ends. If hair looks oily by the next morning, halve the amount.
Will it suit my hair type?
Rich masks, butters and heavy oils suit thick, coarse, curly or chemically treated hair. Fine or oily hair usually does better with a lighter product used only on the ends — too much weight and it goes flat. If you are unsure, use less and see how the hair behaves before the next wash.
How should I store it?
Somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight, with the cap closed. A bathroom shelf away from the shower is fine; the windowsill is not. Heat and light break down oils and actives faster than anything else.
