Product Overview
A foldable baby bathtub for newborns and infants. Set up it works like any infant bath; folded, it collapses flat against a wall or slides behind a door.
Storage is the real problem a baby bath creates. A rigid tub is bulky, awkward, and gets used for a year at most — which is why folding versions have largely replaced them in smaller homes. Note this listing is the bath basin only.

How to Use
- Open it fully and check every joint and catch is locked before adding water. A folding tub that folds while in use is the one thing that must not happen.
- Place it on a flat, stable surface — the floor is safer than a table or worktop.
- Run cold water first, then hot, to about 10cm. Test at around 37°C with your elbow.
- Lower the baby in supporting the head and neck, and keep one hand on them throughout.
- Empty, rinse and dry before folding. Water trapped in the folds grows mould.
Bath Safety
- Never leave a baby alone in the bath, not even for a second. An infant can drown in a few centimetres of water and it happens silently. If you must answer the door or the phone, take the baby with you.
- Run cold water first, then add hot, and test the temperature with your elbow or wrist — around 37°C. Hands are poor thermometers.
- Keep one hand supporting the baby at all times.
- Wet bathroom floors and soapy babies are slippery. Have the towel within reach before you start.
- Bath seats and rings are not safety devices. They tip.
Safety Checks Before Every Bath
- All hinges and locking catches fully engaged.
- Nothing cracked, split or perished — flex the sides and look.
- The tub is on a stable, level surface that will not tip.
- Everything you need — towel, wash, clothes — within arm’s reach before the baby goes in.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a stand included?
No — this listing is the bath basin only.
Up to what age can it be used?
Until the baby can sit unaided and outgrows it, usually somewhere between six and twelve months.
How do I stop mould in the folds?
Dry it completely before folding, and open it out to air every so often rather than leaving it collapsed for weeks.
