Product Overview
WishCare’s serum goes on the scalp, not the lengths. The formula pairs caffeine — included for its effect on blood flow at the skin surface — with three cosmetic actives used across this category: Redensyl, AnaGain and Baicapil. Plant keratin, rice water and biotin make up the conditioning side.
It is vegan and free from parabens, sulfates and mineral oil. The 30ml bottle is roughly a month of daily use.
What a Growth Serum Can and Cannot Do
Worth being straight about this, because the category is full of promises. Hair grows from the follicle, at a rate set largely by genetics, hormones, age and general health. No cosmetic serum changes that rate, and none brings back a follicle that has stopped producing.
What a well-made scalp product can honestly do is worth having. It keeps the scalp clean and comfortable, which is the environment hair grows in. It reduces breakage, so the length you already grow actually stays on your head instead of snapping off. And it makes hair feel thicker by coating the strand. For many people that is the visible difference they were after.
If you are losing hair in a pattern — a receding hairline, thinning at the crown, or a sudden shed after illness, childbirth or a change in medication — see a doctor rather than a shelf. Hair loss with a medical cause responds to treating the cause, and the earlier that starts the better it works.

How to Use
- Start with a clean scalp — after washing, towel-dried, is ideal.
- Part the hair into sections and apply the serum along the partings, onto the skin.
- Massage in with the fingertips for one to two minutes.
- Leave it in. It is not rinsed out.
- Use daily. Assess after three to four months, not weeks.
Patch Test Before the First Use
Do this once, before the first full application, and it takes two minutes. Put a small amount behind the ear or on the inner elbow, leave it for 24 hours, and do not use the product if the skin reddens, itches or stings. A reaction on a coin-sized patch is a nuisance; the same reaction across a whole scalp is not.
Repeat the test if you have reacted to a hair product before, or if your scalp is currently broken, sunburnt or irritated.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use it with a hair oil?
Use them at different times. Oil on the scalp forms a barrier that stops a water-based serum getting through. Oil before a wash, serum after.
Will it make my hair greasy?
It is a light water-based concentrate applied in small amounts, so no — provided you use the few drops intended and not a palmful.
Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Check with your doctor or midwife before using any new treatment product during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. It is a short conversation and it settles the question properly, which a product page cannot.
How should I store it?
Somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight, with the cap closed. A bathroom shelf away from the shower is fine; the windowsill is not. Heat and light break down oils and actives faster than anything else.
